5086 treadplate, also known as 5086 checker plate or kick plate, 5086 diamond plate if one bar, is a type of metal plate with regular pattern bars or lines raised on one side to reduces the risk of slipping, also be used for surface protection against damage from traffic, impacts, scratches or harmful chemicals. compare with 6061 alloy treadplate, as a high magnesium alloy, besides good mechanical properties, 5086 treadplate introduce better corrosion resistance.
